The result of this collaboration is a harvester designed, developed, and manufactured to world class standards using Australian industry knowledge. Move fallen nuts into deposit with a sweeper or blower. Entire numerous passes to pick up missed nuts. Nuts are swept, collected, and cleaned on the machine while nuts not swept out are blown back through ready for the pass down the opposite side of the row. Centracks is owned by Andrew and Joanne Wallis who, earlier to this maximum recent business partnership, operated the Bundaberg John Deere dealership for some 23 years with that business expanding to include numerous branches across central Queensland earlier they sold it in 2013. The Wallis’s have also had their own farming operation for some 20 years and have been macadamia growers for around 10 years. With their own macadamia trees becoming productive, Andrew identified a need for a more efficient and feasible means of harvesting the fruit than was currently available in Australia. Established in 1974, AB russet have established a reputation for designing and manufacturing quality equipment for harvesting a range of nuts and fruits. However, with expanded worldwide production and the need for a more efficient harvesting solution, AB were up to the resist and developed the revolutionary AllInOne sweeper harvester for the macadamia industry. Sweeping, collecting and cleaning are all done by the one machine in a fraction of the time it used to receive to perform these tasks. The pickup floats’ to permit it to follow the contours of the ground preventing catching on bumps and hollows. To permit for foliage cover on the ground, the entrance throat can also be hydraulically adjusted. Fruit not swept out on the first pass is blown back between the tree spaces by an ultra potent lateral turbine ready to be gathered by the sweepers on the run down the opposite side of the row. Any dirt or trash simply drops through the elevator chain. The hopper can be moved to all positions allowing for easy emptying into a bin, trailer, or a pit.
