Since our beginning veterans’ hostel in 1938, our services have expanded to serve the broader community. Our Charter signaled a transformational, philosophical and cultural change for our organization and has set the scene for our fresh strategic direction. Our customer segmentation research confirmed our belief that a one size fits all model is not what our customers are looking for and supports our desire to deliver a better and more rewarding experience for our customers. We have reinvested in our capabilities to ensure that the majority of our services are operating within top quartile industry benchmarks (Stewart Brown Benchmarking). We know from the evidence accumulated in our customer research that customers recognize the incredible guidance we present but will be looking for greater choice in the future. Our fresh business model is about proactively guiding and motivating people to healthy being and personal growth in their later years. Consisting of life stages that focus on fruitful aging, we are active with our customers to innovate and co design specific products and services that support: Today, ASL Concern is one of Australia’s largest providers of services for older people and is one of the very few that can present a stuffed range of services irrespective of stage of life or smooth of need and will remain to do so into the future.
