The creek at the southern end of the beach calm bears the name of Cable House Creek. This was the first of a career that was to thrill the world with his audacious exploits. Beach and estuary fishing is also correct at your doorstep. Barbara Beach Five minutes’ drive from Turtle Sands, Barbara Beach is the region’s most developed seaside center and a hub of desirable eating establishments from cafes, to pubs, and restaurants. All essential services including supermarkets, petrol stations and medical centers are available at Barbara. There is plenty to see and do in the Bundaberg and Coral Coast area.
